Barnes Capital is an independent money manager and a registered investment advisor.  We build and manage investment portfolios for individuals and small businesses.

Our Practice is tailored to meet the unique requirements of our clients and their families. We manage a limited number of accounts.  Clients have direct access to the portfolio manager and for many clients we provide counsel in all their financial affairs.

Income planning for retirement is a challenge and source of insecurity facing many clients.  At Barnes Capital we craft income strategies for retirees, those contemplating retirement and others who wish to forsake corporate salaries for new opportunities.

Contrarian Investing is a patient style of investing that enables superior investment performance.  Contrarian investing is when you base your buy and sell decisions on a classic valuation basis.  An example of contrarian investing occurred in 1999 when out of favor assets including Oil, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Value Stocks and Gold sold at low prices while technology stocks were bid up to the moon.  Accordingly, at Barnes Capital we construct portfolios by discovering and buying assets that are selling at great values.
